Well known financier, distributor and loser of crores of rupees in Kannada cinema Nagaprasad of Samarth Venture bad luck days have followed him even in his second innings.

At the media meet on Tuesday distributor of BKT area of ‘Adyaksha’ Prasad covered up what he has done and lied at the media. Later he was brought to the notice what he has done.

Prasad agreed that he has done like that because concerned exhibitor Ranganath on lease of Arkavathi theatre in Kanakapura arrived at 4 pm for the convened meet of KFCC at 11 am. Prasad tendered unconditional apology.

Another side of the issue of clash Prasad had with exhibitor is that KFCC has fined Rs.12 lakhs for cheating 76 tickets in the collection. A complaint has been lodged by Prasad in this regard.

What is the repercussion of this Prasad and exhibitor clash? It is assessed that the ‘Power***’ distribution taken by Samarth Prasad would get a back seat in business.

According to highly placed sources Odhugowdar of Northern Karnataka the kingpin of exhibitor has taken Prasad beating exhibitor Ranganath issue very seriously.

As a result instead of theatres giving advance to Power star Puneeth Rajakumar film ‘Power ***’, exhibitors have been asked to receive one week advance of theatre rent to screen ‘Power***’ Kannada cinema. It will be a big bane for Prasad as sources say he has struck a deal for Rs.11 crores outright deal of Puneeth Rajakumar film.

It may be recalled once power star Puneeth Rajakumar called this distributor as ‘Iron Leg’.
